Non-woven unitized wheels are dense, abrasive discs made of nylon fibers and abrasive grains. They grind, deburr, and polish in one step. As they wear down, fresh abrasive is exposed, giving you a consistent finish. They work great on metal, plastic, and composite parts.
Features & Benefits
- Performer non-woven unitized wheels are made by compressing layers of non-woven abrasive materials, with special nylon fibre that adhere with the abrasive.
- That grinding process provides self-sharpening of the wheel resulting in consistent quality and a homogenous and even finish.
- Used for de-burring and polishing, both in one process only.
- Made up of high quality nylon fibre, it removes surface defects & gives decorative finish.
Applications
- Deburring: Smoothing out sharp, jagged edges left after cutting metal.
- Weld Polishing: Blending rough welding marks into a smooth surface.
- Surface Cleaning: Removing rust, paint, or oxidation without gouging the base metal.
